C1-10P, better known as "Chopper," is the resident astromech of the Ghost crew in the animated series Star Wars Rebels. He is an older, more obsolete model of droid, which contributes to his often-irritable and argumentative personality. Despite his cantankerous nature, Chopper is fiercely loyal to his found family and is a highly effective, if unconventional, member of the early Rebellion. His inclusion in the 2021 Droids stamp set is significant as it recognizes the importance of the animated series to the overall Star Wars canon and introduces a beloved character from those stories to a wider audience. The stamp's design captures his unique, stocky build and his ever-present manipulator arms.
